01 · Context

The challenge

  • Company policy required all data to stay on-premise, ruling out cloud ERPs.
  • Three units ran three different spreadsheets for stores and production.
  • Payroll with shift allowances, PF and ESIC was processed manually each month, and e-way bills were generated by re-typing invoices on the GST portal.

Our approach

  • Discovery across all three units to agree one process model and one item master.
  • Designed an on-premise deployment with controlled replication and a disaster-recovery plan.
  • Phased go-live by module: stores first, then production, then payroll and GST.

What we built

  • A Laravel and MySQL ERP in Docker on the manufacturer's servers, accessible across units over the intranet.
  • Production, stores, purchase and sales modules sharing one schema.
  • Payroll with biometric attendance, shift rules, PF, ESIC and Professional Tax including Gujarat provisions.
  • GST e-way bill and e-invoice generation from the sales transaction.
